• A.D.P.S.R. (Architects/Designers/Planners for Social Responsibility) – Board of Directors, Northern California Chapter, 1998-2002. Chairperson of the annual Green Materials Showcase held at the Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco. Show featured over 200 green building products and materials and attended by hundreds of people from the design and construction professions. Has evolved into West Coast Green, attended by thousands.
  • Architecture & Children - Non-profit organization involved with education of the built environment. Assisted with cross-cultural promotion in Japan and teaching seminars in Seattle.
  • A.S.I.D. (American Society of Interior Designers) - Member of the Public Service Committee, as Board Member of Washington State Chapter. 1992-93 project was the renovation of the offices of the Easter Seals of Washington. Member of first national Sustainable Design Council.
