Selected Accomplishments

  • First in-house green and healthy building expert for the largest HMO in the United States..
  • Conceived of and developed the first green building database with environmental attributes for tracking municipal construction projects for the City and County of San Francisco. GreenPRINTS database is also used by Federal government and under consideration by other organizations.
  • Developed and implemented the largest municipal LEED study group, training, and incentive program in the nation.
  • Developed and implemented the first green building healthcare training seminar in the nation.
  • Developed operations and infrastructure guidelines for the Green Base of the Future Initiative for the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence.
  • Developed and conducted a national research study on sustainable building materials and construction and demolition waste recycling for major building material manufacturer.
  • Co-developed and chaired the annual Green Materials Showcase held at the Pacific Energy Center in San Francisco. Event has developed into West Coast Green, the largest green residential building conference in the country with thousands of attendees.
  • Invited to lecture at national and international conferences, to industry groups, and universities on sustainable design and indoor environmental quality issues.
